What we collect depends on how you use the website:
- Contact messages: Your name, email address, phone number if provided, subject and message.
- Careers accounts: Your name, email address, password, phone number, nationality, location, date of birth, identification number, postal address and professional profile details.
- Job applications: Your CV, application letter, supporting documents, additional information and records of recruitment steps.
- Account security: Activation, login verification, password reset and other security records.
- Website use: IP address, browser information, requested pages, session information and language preference where needed to operate or protect the website.
Passwords are not stored as readable text. Please include only information needed for your inquiry or application, especially when uploading documents or writing a contact message.
How we use your information
We use this information to answer inquiries, create and secure accounts, receive and assess job applications, communicate about recruitment, send account and security emails, prevent misuse, maintain records and meet legal obligations.
We collect information for specified, lawful purposes and aim to limit it to what is needed for those purposes. We do not use it for an incompatible new purpose unless the law allows that use.
Email delivery and Google
The website may send activation, login verification, password reset and recruitment service emails. When we use Google's Gmail API to send them, Google processes the recipient address and the email content needed for delivery.
Our Gmail connection has permission to send messages only. It does not give this website permission to read your inbox or manage your Gmail messages.
Sharing and transfers
Authorised staff may access information needed to answer you or manage recruitment. Service providers may process information to help us operate, secure or support the website, under our instructions. We may also disclose information when required by law or needed for a legal claim.
Some providers may process or access information outside Tanzania. Where a transfer is necessary, we will handle it under the transfer requirements of Tanzania's Personal Data Protection Act, 2022.
Retention and security
We keep information for as long as it is needed for the relevant account, inquiry, recruitment, security or legal purpose, or for a period required by law. The period varies by type of information. When information is no longer needed, we take steps to delete or securely dispose of it unless the law requires us to keep it.
We use technical and organisational safeguards intended to protect information against loss, unauthorised access, alteration and disclosure. Please keep your account details private and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions and exceptions in the law, you may ask whether we process your personal data and request information about it. You may ask us to correct inaccurate data or to block, erase or destroy data where the law allows. You may also object to certain processing, ask us to stop direct marketing, request information about certain automated decisions, and seek a remedy where provided by law.
If we rely on your consent for a particular use, you may withdraw it. This does not affect earlier processing or processing allowed on another lawful basis.

If you reject optional cookies, we do not set that language cookie and remove it if it was already present. Your chosen language can still work during your current session.
